5 Quick Takes Saturday - Vol 23

~ 1 ~
I really need to get back into the swing of doing this every week... so I could do the Teen Girls Daybook, that looks fun. Well, regardless, I probably won't have much time for either of them the next few Saturdays, but we'll see.

~ 2 ~
Aha! Inspiration! I do the daybook as part of Quick Takes. =) Yay for me.

~ 3 ~
Date... November 21st, 2009
Starting time... 4:11 PM
Mood... Um... normal?
Outside my window... The sunset
I'm thinking... About my next forum-inspired facebook page
I'm reading... Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott
I'm listening to... My siblings watch a Little House on the Prairie episode
I'm wearing... my green mock-turtleneck and green skirt w/ my bell earrings my friend made for me.
Yesterday, I... went to the Miles Christi Evening of Recollection
I'm excited for... moving, I think
I'm sad because... I'm not sad today!
I'm hungry for... Fudge
The song stuck inside my head is... Alright, by Darius Rucker
I want... to get a Facebook account
I love... my friends.
I loathe... crickets
This week, my goal is... to pack more boxes
Did I meet last week's goal?... no, I didn't have a goal last week!
Ending time... 4:16 PM

So the latest fad on the FT Forum is creating Facebook pages for our characters. I made a page for the adventure when I was a wee lass of ten, gone back in time with my triplets Jo and Therese to Attolia and lived for a time with Eugenides and Irene. =) Gen taught me how to be a theif and I eventually became the Kings Thief. Here is the link: http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp248/catholicrose/other%20pictures/RoseMarchenfacebookcopy.jpg

5 Quick Takes Saturday - Vol 22

~ 1 ~
I love country music. And country music artists. While some of them can get a bit off track - as do the majority of entertainers - for the most part country singers have their heads on straight. Carrie Underwood for example. We had on the radio last night and at the time Carrie had called in to be on the show and listeners were calling in and asking questions. One caller asked, "What do you see yourself doing in 5-10 years?"
It was so refreshing to hear Carrie respond that she was just going to wait and see what God had planned for her, because if you plan out your future you might miss something that you should be doing. So great to hear from a rising country star!

Here is the poem that I wrote yesterday for PePoWriMo. It's a terzanelle, a cross between a villanelle and a terza rima. It's fun to write!

Why must you go away my love?
It is more than my heart can bear.
Why must you go away my love?

Aren't we our lives supposed to share?
Don't go and leave me all alone,
It is is more than my heart can bear.

What will I do when you aren't home?
The thought of it makes me afraid,
Don't go and leave me all alone.

Don't make us wish that you had stayed,
What if something happens to us?
The thought of it makes me afraid.

You know sometimes it's hard to trust
That everything will be alright.
What if something happens to us?

I will wait for you this long night.
Why must you go away my love?
As from my eyes the tears I fight.
Why must you go away my love?

~ 3 ~

I just realized that I haven't shared my tragic Itallian love poem with you! Shame on me!

Lament for Ravioli
I made my ravioli, so
Plump and so smooth. In the pot I
Set it to cook, my lovely dough.
Could I’ve known I must say good-bye?

For the phone rang and I forgot
All about my simmering pot.
My ravioli’d burst, ‘twas gone.
I shall as well ‘fore very long.

You see, this form of poetry is called a rispetto, and is an Italian form. I wanted to write something depressing, but the more I thought of it, I just couldn't! I mean, Italian's just aren't depressing people! So I decided I must write a love poem, which would be fitting. But about what exactly? While I was thinking, I randomly mentioned how the thought of ravioli was just filling my mind during Mass that morning... and a depressing Italian love poem resulted.

~ 4 ~

While this next quick take may seem more like something you'd read on Random Profound Thoughts, I assure you I am totally serious about this.

So I have realized that I never enlightened my dear readers on the new term for cute guys! (That you don't want to date).

It all stemmed from a discussion I had with some friends of mine. My one friend (Friend A) drew a super amazing picture of Ben Barnes. Now Friend B and I saw it and were "Oh my gosh, he is so CUTE!!!!" However, Friend C didn't seem to like that, rolling her eyes and saying we sounded just like the girls at the highschool she has to take some classes at.

Now, we tried to tell her that you can in fact say that a random guy or actor is cute in an objective manner, without meaning you have a crush or are all fangirly or whatever. Cute is just an alternative adjective. If you say "cute" instead of "handsome" or "good looking", then you say "cute" instead of "handsome" or "good looking!" (and to be honest, saying "cute" is way more fun then saying "good looking") Well, Friend C wasn't having any of it.

So I mentioned this to Lanta the other night, and her remedy was that we just needed to come up with another word. At first she picked "gory"(cute=hunk, hunk= hunky dory, dory sounds like gory). Then, after Lanta, my sisters Yaviel and Kathleen and I had a bubble/Shakespearian conversation, I had the brilliant idea that cute guys are - bubbles!

And there you have it. Cute guys are bubbles.

~ 5 ~

One last long - er, quick, take. My sisters and I came up with some 'song albums' by LotR characters....

Critic Review: This latest Arwen release is a joy to the elvish ear… a glistening waterfall of sound, cascading melodies and flowing rhythm. Both her instrumentals (like Longsleeves) and vocals (The amazing Ode to Eowyn, for example) are pinnacles of her genre. Alas, this glistening gem is marred by one fatal flaw… her rather jarring break from her typical style into a rocking “I Can’t Wait ‘Till He’s King.” We suspect it is a parody of another popular song. ~ Noteriel

5 Quick Takes Saturday - Vol 21

~ 1 ~
Greetings this fine day, oh fair readers! I pray thou will forgive mine form of speech this day. For I am of a Shakespearian turn of mind this weekend! On the fair forum we art having a party - aye, and a fine one at that - to celebrate All Hallows Eve, All Saints Day and the second anniversary of our Forum! 'Tis a wonderous good time we are having... all masquerading as characters from the plays of Shakespeare. I am enjoying this verily much!

~ 2 ~

"Can one desire too much of a good thing?" - As You Like It

~ 3 ~

Aye, and another thing of Shakespearian turn that I am looking forward too with eagerness is the release of the November "Ink and Fairydust". Quite excited am I, for it has been transformed into the shape of a magazine this month... with 44 pages! By Jove, what a joy that shall be to read! Here is the cover for this month, is it not comely to behold?

~ 4 ~

I have a confession to maketh to thee all... I have become quite entranced with Shakespeare! Those of ye who have heard me proclaim Shakespeare to be dry and dull in my youth shall wag their heads at me, but 'tis the truth. Verily I like him now!

The change didst come upon me with an adventure upon our forum. 'Twas revealed that one of the members was in truth Laertes of Hamlet fame, and his sister was the fair Ophelia. Having not read that play, and being curious to read a classical work featuring one of mine friends, I took up the book and was snared. I have since re-read As You Like It for the third time and started Macbeth. I plan next to cast mine eyes upon A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Taming of the Shrew... and as many as I can well fit into my school year!

~ 5 ~

I shalt now leave thee with some o' mine favorite quotes.... Rose and Lanta style.

"Is this a bubble I see before me?"

"Oh happy bubble! This is thy sheathe! There pop and let me die!"

"To pop, or not to pop? That is the question!"

"Were we to call a bubble by any other name, 'twould pop just as well!"

"All the world's a bubble, and the men and women merely pop it."

"Frailty, thy name is bubble!"

"But bubbles are bubbles; the best sometimes pop. "

"Be not afraid of bubbles: some are born bubbles, some achieve bubbliness , and some have bubbles thrust upon them."

5 Quick Takes Saturday - Vol 20

~ 1 ~

Gosh, it's been quite a while since I've done one of these! My Saturdays have been a wee bit full though. Not that I've minded... usually it's with fun stuff. Like last Saturday when we had our annual fall festival/barn party. We invite everyone we know out to our house, they all bring a dish for dinner, we set up tables and chairs in our barn and just talk or play games or sing or dance... whatever we want! It's so much fun.

~ 2 ~

We had this video e-mailed to us, and I thought I would share it with you. I found it really interesting and wonderful that someone actually said that Obama did not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize because of his stance on abortion. Hurray for Rachel!

~ 3 ~

Just a little FYI... I have two new pages up on my website! Hopefully I'll get some more up soon, please pray that I do!

~ 4 ~
I be now goin' to speak like a scurvy pirate while I wrack me brain fer another quick take. Hmmm.... thinkin'.... need somethin' else to scribe 'bout! Ooh, we had rotten apple cinnamon pancakes fer breakfast 'tis mornin', wit' steamin' rotten apple cider. (It wasn't rotten, 'tis tavern just translated it so. It was really jolly!)

Speakin' 'o band 'o pirates... on th' current adventure over at Bayport we're havin' a flashback adventure 'n I be in me role as cap'n Fox Turner... plague 'o me uncle Capn' Jack. I be goin' to start a mutiny, that be a ruckas!

If ye be lookin' fer some nice music to listen to, I'd like to direct ye over to Alot o' Scottish Nonsense 'bout Nuttin'. Danny has a great playlist 'o music from th' movie Braveheart, (which I put together fer him.) bin absolutely fallen in love wit' that music, 'tis extra pretty, 'n inspirin' 'n just plain nice to listen to.

Well, I be out 'o the hour fer this day folks. Remember, God made ye special 'n He loves ye extra much! jolly bye!

5 Quick Takes Saturday - Vol 19

I found this lovely article on Lily Maiden's blog and thought i would share it with you.

n 1984, a video called The Silent Scream helped change the way people think about the unborn child. The footage of an actual abortion and the fetus’s reaction reminded us that abortion involves the death of a real person.

A recent bit of footage has similar potential, only it couldn’t be more different from The Silent Scream.

The footage was part of a recent PBS special, The Music Instinct: Science & Song. The program was an exploration of, among other things, music’s “biological, emotional and psychological impact on humans.”

Part of this “exploration” included how music affects babies. If we are, as some scientists believe, “wired for music,” then babies are ideal test subjects since their reactions are, by definition, instinctual.

Part of this research involved the effect of music on fetuses. While we knew that mothers often sing to their unborn children, we weren’t sure that the unborn child could hear them.

We are now. Read the rest here.

~ 2 ~

While on the subject of music, i found this gorgeous version of Pachelbel's Canon on YouTube today, performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. It's really something!

~ 3 ~

More music, this one sad news. Jon Schmidt won't be able to sell "Love Story meets Viva la Vida". Coldplay wouldn't give permission, so no song! Jon Schmidt did redo the song, so now it's just "Love Story meets Love Story". It's pretty good and i like it, though i still like Viva better.

~ 4 ~

This does not have to do with music; movies instead. Danny just started a blog for his film endeavor titled "A Crusader's Tale". It's looking pretty nice!

5 Quick Takes Saturday - Vol 17

~ 1 ~

Well, i've been having a refresher course in accepting God's Will these past couple of days. It's been a bit hard at times, but i think i've finally accepted and gotten over the fact that i'm not out in Virginia at the Fairy Tale Novels Forum Get-Together. I had to cry, write a song and pray before i could, but now i'm fine.
It makes me wonder....

How do people who don't believe in God or prayer ever survive?

~ 2 ~

Er, as i mentioned in the above quick take, i wrote a rather pathetic song about not going to Virginia. I am quite proud of it, so i figured i would share it with you other deprived people out there. ;) 'Tis to be sung to the tune of "When There Was Me and You" from High School Musical.

It's funny when you find yourself
Watchin’ them on YouTube.
I'm standing here, but all I want
Is to be over there.

Why couldn’t it have worked out,

A miracle just happen?
Cause now I have to pretend
That I am fine right here.

I want to go to Virginia

And see my friends, my family.

Meet Paul, Elena, Grace

And Rachel too.

But my folks knew I couldn’t buy

A ticket to Front Royal oooh ooh

Wish I could be there too….

I swore I would get there somehow
By a train or walking.

And how I tried,

I did all that

A girl could ever do.
But it just wasn’t meant to be.

Now I’m feeling wistful,

I’m only left with might-have-beens

And maybe a next year.

Now I know I can’t go to VA,
Won’t see my friends, my family.
Meet Emmy, Daisy, Liz

And Bowman too.
Cause now even I can tell
I can’t go to Front Royal, oooh ooh
Wish I could be there too
But dreams don’t all come true

Hey at least,

They gave me call.

Got to talk to

Them that’s better

Than nothin’ at all.

I wish I was there too,

Be there with all of you.
But dreams don’t all come true.

~ 3 ~

A highlight of the week though was being able to talk to some of the folks at the Black Cat Inn Thursday and again today!!!! Let's see, i talked to Emmy, Rachel, Vicki, Hannah, Grace, Paul and Ginger and Elena said hi i think (it was a bit hard to hear at times, so i'm not really sure!)
Anyhow, thanks to all of you whom i talked to for taking pity on a poor girl who wants to meet you all so much!!!

~ 4 ~

Random fact... my character on the forum died the other day. Poor me, i was killed when the evil villain was backed up against the edge of a cliff so he threw a knife at Peter and leapt over the cliff rather than surrender. (Poor addle-brained lug.) Now, as it would have been against the rules for Peter to die (we have a no killing your husband rule) I simply had no choice but to leap in front of him and die myself! It's been rather nice, you know, being mourned and all that. One dear girl even wrote a song. ;)

~ 5 ~

Hmm, shall i post something non forum related for this one? (Horror of horrors, that 'twould be unthinkable!)

Well, i shall be going swimming shortly, so ta ta for now!

5 Quick Takes Saturday - Vol 16

~ 1 ~
Well let's start your Saturday off with a laugh, eh? Ahem, if you would, direct thine lovely and handsome eyes to the rather stunning bit of photoshop down below.
Behold... The Yavielonath!

Quiet good, eh? There are a few things that i would still fix (if i knew how), but on the whole i'm rather proud of it. 'Twas a genius of mine imagination, though the original idea to stick her hand out in front was Yaviel's. Someday i'll get around to posting the photos we took from that photo shoot.

I would like to add to my list of Anti-Muffin people. (I had to get off yesterday, and couldn't complete it as i wished.) So i would like to add:

Ahem, as one of the moderators of the Fairy Tale Novels Forum, i feel it my joyful duty to let any forum members who read my blog know about the Fairy Tale Novels Forum Newsletter! (This is assuming you are part of the forum and don't check it and therefore don't know about it.)

It's going to quite a charming and fun thing, so if you've opted-out of mass e-mails for the forum, i humbly urge you to opt-in so that you may receive this work of art right in your very own e-mail boxes! That way you won't have to remember to check the forum for the link that we will be posting there.

We should be getting out our first issue by the end of the month, so keep an eye out for it!

(Non-forumers may disregard this message. Forumers may not.)

~ 4 ~

Oh, what else to post about?

Haven't the foggiest!

Oh really, you don't? Well that's too bad, i was counting on you for inspiration!

My profoundest apologies.

Well don't apologize! Think of something to post!

Humph. You don't need to shout about it. Why don't you tell them you are starting up school on the 17th?

Am i? Oh, very well then. I am starting up school again on the 17th. My religion book looks very exciting.

See, it wasn't that hard was it?

Well, no, but twas terribly boring and now what else shall i post about?

~ 5 ~

The author of this blog wishes to regretfully inform her readers that alas! She cannot think of anything of substance to post in this the last Quick Take. She pleads your indulgence upon her temporary lack of interesting-ness this week, assuring you that she will be much more entertaining next week (she hopes).

Now she will conclude and let you depart for other, more enlightening blogs.

~ 1 ~

Seesh! Haven't done one of these in a while. My apologize, dear ones!

And somehow that apology up there just isn't looking right... did i spell it wrong or do you spell apologeeze (going phonetically there) apologize?

~ 2 ~

Inspired by an awesomely lovely Arwen dress that i am borrowing from a friend (she made the dress!) my sister Yavi and i went on another photo shooting spree, the results of which i used to make a few avatars and signatures.

Feel free to use! (But please do credit)

Ha ha, they pretty much describe what i've been doing all summer long!

~ 3 ~

And here is another bit of graphic art that i did with my Arwen pictures. =) (Though Liv Taylor is far prettier than i!)

~ 4 ~

If where you live is chilly and overcast like my house, then here are two hilarious jokes from Jare and Lib to brighten your day!

So first is the Blonde and the Lawyer one.
A blonde and a lawyer are seated next to each other on a flight from L.A. to New York. The lawyer asks if she would like to play a fun game? The blonde, tired, just wants to take a nap. Politely she declines and rolls over to the window to catch a few winks. The lawyer persists and explains that the game is easy and a lot of fun. He explains, "I ask you a question, and if you don't know the answer, you pay me $5.00, and vise versa." Again, she declines and tries to get some sleep. The lawyer, now agitated, says, "Okay, if you don't know the answer you pay me $5.00, and if I don't know the answer, I will pay you $500.00." This catches the blonde's attention and, figuring there will be no end to this torment unless she plays,
agrees to the game. The lawyer asks the first question. "What's the distance from the earth to the moon?" The blonde doesn't say a word, reaches into her purse, pulls out a $5.00 bill and hands it to the lawyer.“Okay," says the lawyer," your turn."She asks the lawyer, "What goes up a hill with three legs and comes down with four legs?"The lawyer, puzzled, takes out his laptop computer and searches all his references. No answer. He taps into the air phone with his modem and searches the Internet and the Library of Congress. No answer. Frustrated, he sends e-mails to all his friends and coworkers, to no avail. After an hour, he wakes the blonde and hands her $500.00. The blonde says, "Thank you," puts her head on the pillow and goes back to sleep. The lawyer, who is more than a little miffed, wakes the blonde and asks, "Well, what's the answer?" Without a word, the blonde reaches into her purse, hands the lawyer $5.00, and goes back to sleep.

Now the Firetruck one,
A fire started on some grassland near a farm. The county fire department was called to put out the fire. The fire was more than the county fire department could handle.Someone suggested that a nearby volunteer bunch be called. Despite some doubt that the volunteer outfit would be of any assistance, the call was made. The volunteers arrived in a dilapidated old fire truck. They rumbled straight towards the fire, drove right into the middle of the flames and stopped! The firemen jumped off the truck and frantically started spraying water in all directions.Soon they had snuffed out the center of the fire, breaking the blaze into two easily controlled parts.Watching all this, the farmer was so impressed with the volunteer fire department's work and was so grateful that his farm had been spared, that right there on the spot he presented the volunteers with a check for $1,000.A local news reporter asked the volunteer fire captain what the department planned to do with the funds.'That ought to be obvious,' he responded, wiping ashes off his coat. 'The first thing we're gonna do is get the brakes fixed on our fire truck!'

~ 5 ~

To finish off today's quick takes, i'd like to share with you a beautiful song that i've fallen in love with recently (Thanks Mistica!!!!). It's called 'Bella's Lullaby' by most people, but apparently it actually isn't, it's called "River Flows in You" by Yiruma.

Well, what ever it's called, it's beautiful and i feel so blessed to have found the sheet music for it as well! I'm just going to post the link since lately the YouTube's have been so big they cut over into the sidebar, and that's just annoying. So here is the link for you to listen to the song and - if you want - find the link for the sheet music in the description.

Prayer to Our Lady of America, Patroness of our Land

Written at the behest of Our Lady, October 5, 1956 by Sister Mary Ephrem (Mildred Neuzil)

Oh Immaculate Mother, Queen of our country, open our hearts, our homes, and our land to the coming of Jesus, your Divine Son. With Him, reign over us, O heavenly Lady, so pure and so bright with the radiance of Gods light shining in and about you. Be our leader against the powers of evil set upon wresting the world of souls, redeemed at such a great cost by the sufferings of your Son and of yourself, in union with Him, from that same Savior, Who loves us with infinite charity.

We gather about you, O chaste and holy Mother, Virgin Immaculate, Patroness of our beloved Land, determined to fight under your banner of holy purity against the wickedness that would make all the world an abyss of evil, without God and without your loving maternal care.

We consecrate our hearts, our homes, our Land to your Most Pure Heart, O great Queen, that the kingdom of your Son, our Redeemer and our God, may be firmly established in us.

We ask no special sign of you, sweet Mother, for we believe in your great love for us, and we place in you our entire confidence. We promise to honor you by faith, love, and the purity of our lives according to your desire.

Reign over us, then, O Virgin Immaculate, with your Son Jesus Christ. May His Divine Heart and your most chaste Heart be ever enthroned and glorified among us. Use us, your children of America, as your instruments of peace among men and nations. Work your miracle of grace in us, so that we may be a glory to the Blessed Trinity, Who created, redeemed, and sanctifies us.

May your valiant spouse, St. Joseph, with the holy Angels and Saints, assist you and us in "renewing the face of the earth." Then when our work is over, come, Holy Immaculate Mother, and as our Victorious Queen, lead us to the eternal kingdom, where your Son reigns forever as King.

Amen

On today, the celebration of America's founding, i think it a wonderful idea to pray "The Patriotic Rosary". I first became acquainted with this about five years ago and have prayed it every year on the Fourth of July since then. It really is a beautiful prayer. You can find directions for it by going here.

5 Quick Takes Saturday - Vol 12

~ 1 ~
So i started doing these Quick Takes Saturday in imitation of Conversion Diary because i wanted to do the 7 Quick Takes but my mom said all the people who do it are older (as in married or over 25) so i should start my own and have it as 5 takes so that other teens would want to do it to. But *looks disapprovingly at readers with blogs* no one has!!! (Except the Other Katy, who did it once or twice). *looks pleadingly* Come on guys/girls! Coming up with 5 quick (or not) things isn't that hard! And it gets so lonely doing it all by my little lonesome! Puh-leaseeeee?????

~ 2 ~
I have planned to do a few sewing projects over the summer, one of them being my dream skirt:
Yes, yes, yes i know it isn't finished yet! That's just the material and i am head over heels in love with it. I have always wanted a red skirt and this fabric is such a beautiful shade of red! Here's a bit of a closer look at it, along with the skirt style:
Isn't it purty? It kind of reminds me of glowing strawberry jello...

I started it yesterday and got about half way through, it's a fairly easy pattern. And it's really wide! My sister made one out of denim and it has a very full skirt - perfect for spinning!

And don't worry, i shall be sure to post pictures of the finished project when it is finished!

Oh, and if you want to make your own skirt, the pattern is a McCall's M5566.

~ 3 ~
Randomness: (i am writing this on Friday, btw). Previous to typing this post i was making pizza and i just looked down at my fingers and realized that i must have forgotten to properly scrub my nails because there is hard and crusty pizza dough all over them! Well, when i'm done here...

~ 4 ~
Thanks to Master Xavier for e-mailing this one to me. Hope y'all get a good laugh out of it!

Quote of the May
Mary does not shine for herself, or from herself, but she is the reflection of her and our Redeemer, and she glorifies Him. When she appears in darkness, we know that He is close at hand.
~ Venerable John Henry Newman

They fixed our road!!!! Well, kind of anyhow. Our road was so full of potholes - it was a huge mess. You could avoid them with the van but with the little car there were a few spots where you just couldn't avoid them. Ick. So today they fixed them by scraping of the top of the road and spreading a bunch of gravel down. Then in a year or so they'll come back and actually completely fix the road by putting down a tar/gravel layer. But no more potholes!!!

And just because you non-forum people will think it's weird, Peter and i had our wedding anniversary party yesterday. It was great! Plenty of dancing and i was nearly kidnapped by Prince Humperdink, but was saved by my niece Maddy and her hubby Vkitor Krum who turned Humperdink into a weasel. (It's Yenta's fault Humper-weasel was there in the first place. =P ) And then my neice Addie and soon-to-be-nephew Westley gave us a summer home in Lothlorien!!!!

And here is darling Peter and i on our wedding!

Yeah i know, it's only 5 quick takes, but i just had to comment on a strange phenomenon... since posting my two... rather odd posts, i have gotten a total of 24 comments - 12 comments per post - more comments then i have gotten in a really, really, really long time, certainly more comments than i have ever gotten for posting something serious or meaningful. Any thoughts or speculations on why that is?

Quote of the May

You, O mary, are the young plant that produced the fragrant flower of the Word, only begotten of God, because you were the fertile land that was sown with this Word.

5 Quick Takes Saturday - Vol 9

~1~

Yay! I actually have time to do it this week! Amazing. Now to think of 5 quick things...

Some graphic art things from me for the fan movie "The Hunt For Gollum". The Hunt for Gollum is a fan made movie (like i already said), about 40 minutes long and can be found and watched online. I will say that i was very impressed with the quality of it, the actors, the music, the action was all very well done and very Lord of the Rings-ish. I highly recomend it!

A new and very lovely bracelet from "Handmaid for the Lord Jewelry"!

This beautiful devotional bracelet is a gorgeous blend of amethyst beads: auroray borealis crystals, fiber optics (cat's eye), and cathedral cut crystals. We've completed the bracelet with a beautiful, pewter, heart toggle clasp.
7.5" long, gift boxed.

We have added the dotted cross and Miraculous Medal as examples for customizing. You choose 2 of your own!

Handmaid for the Lord also has two new saints chaplets as well, so you might want to check those out too!

Because i'm desperate for #5, and because this was just too weird.... a Simarillion Madlibs.

The nail file of Fëanor

Fëanor fainted a terrible nail file. His -5/8 second cousin twice removed leapt straightway to his side and fainted the selfsame nail file together, and red as blood shone their drawn drill in the glare of the torches. They fainted a nail file which none shall preen, and none should glare, by the name even of Ilúvatar, calling the Everlasting Dark upon them if they kept it not; and Taylor Swift they named in witness, and Barak Obama, and the hallowed mountain of sushi, vowing to pursue with vengeance and hatred to the ends of the World accountant, cashier, waiter or dentist as yet unborn, or any creature, flowered or grotesque, good or evil, that time should bring forth unto the end of days, whoso should clean or swim or keep a armadillo from their possession.
