The Feast of Corpus Christi

My Jesus,
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace
You as if You were already there and
unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.

Amen.

Protest NOW!

Urge YouTube to Remove "Jesus Juice" Video

How do you feel about YouTube allowing people to post videos showing the Holy Eucharist being desecrated and mocked?

For example, did you know there's a video called "Jesus Juice" on YouTube showing a man who takes a Host and mixes it with fresh fruit in a juicer machine?

Did you know that the video maker mocks Our Lord by saying: "I think that even Jesus himself would drink this juice it is so delicious...I can almost see Jesus in that juice already."

He also says: "If you want to make this yourself at home, you might be saying - where can I find that secret ingredient? Well, I bet if you just think about it hard enough, you'll be able to figure it out."

Finally, he mocks Our Lord before drinking the "Jesus Juice" in these words:

"Jesus, we thank you for this juice. May it nourish my body. And
thank you for giving me the idea as I sat in church..."

This is a sacrilege! And don't you consider it shocking that YouTube allows someone to post this type of offensive speech on its video sharing site?

So please send your protest message to YouTube.

The good news is that tens of thousands of Catholics joined our previous email protests against similar desecration videos on YouTube. Other Catholic sites and groups joined us, and we were able to get the desecration videos pulled from YouTube - thank God!

That victory reminds me of the protest we did against e-Bay auctioning consecrated hosts online. We won that one too! E-bay changed its policy and no longer facilitates the sale of consecrated hosts online.

These victories spur me to action today, to reach out to millions more Catholics out of the one billion Catholics worldwide. Ultimately, I hope 100,000 people sign this protest message to YouTube.

Will you help do it by passing on this message to your friends and family?

Thank you for helping. And if you like the work we're doing please:

Go here to send a small gift to spread the YouTube protest to millions of Catholics in America and abroad.
Sincerely,
Robert Ritchie

There has been a victory, but something worse is on the horizon.

The 55 videos of the desecration of the Most Holy Eucharist have been pulled, but another YouTube member has threatened to do something even worse then the other person! Here is the update I received, PLEASE, PLEASE ACT on it!

Please offer thanksgiving that the maker (fsmdude) of the 55 Host Desecration videos has finally removed them from YouTube!

I have included a thanksgiving prayer at the bottom of this email for you to say. Please say it with fervor, ardor and zeal.

But the fight to defend Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist continues. A new blasphemer who calls himself TJ has posted a video on YouTube, and he states:

"I have no respect for your Jesus-freak nonsense and I am happy to offend you and your filthy, hate mongering, sadistic, piece of c-xxx scumbag of a God!!!"

Send your protest message to YouTube-Google directors telling them this is shocking and must be pulled immediately.

Because in his new video, TJ says:

"…everyday I am going to go to Church, I am going to get my little wafer, I am going to smuggle it out after it has been blessed and it is Jesus' body, and I am going to bring it home, and I will collect them until I have about 5 of them…and then I am going to make a video and I am going to desecrate them in a very vile way. I am not exactly sure what yet, but I have a whole week to come up with my methods. So, if anyone has any ideas, let me know."

He uses pages of the Bible to blow his nose, saying it is "a stupid book, a work of fiction and if you don't like what I just did, get over it! Because believe me, I am going to do way worse in the days and weeks to come."

And he ends with: "The Eucharist has not seen desecration until TJ desecrates it."

Shocking!

You and I cannot accept this type of hate speech against our dearest Lord in the Blessed Eucharist.

We must protest immediately to YouTube and Google directors telling them this new video is beyond the pale and must be pulled immediately. Today. Right now. This instant.

And we must demand that TJ's account be suspended so he cannot post the vile desecrations of the Holy Eucharist that he has threatened to do.

Because YouTube-Google has pulled videos offensive to Jews and Muslims but seems slow to pull videos that attack the Catholic Church, Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, and the Bible: the inspired word of God.

This is not fair.

SEND your protest message NOW! And please offer a prayer of reparation as well. I have included one below for your convenience.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

Robert Ritchie

Google/YouTube Board Members,

This is to vehemently complain against a new video (http://youtube.com/user/Discipline01) posted on YouTube by TJ in which he insults the Catholic Faith, blows his nose on pages of the Bible, and threatens to steal Holy Communion Hosts to desecrate in the most vile ways and post videos of himself doing it.

I don't accept this. I understand you have pulled videos offensive to Jews and Muslims. I expect you to remove any and all videos that offend the most sacred beliefs of Catholics.

As a board member of YouTube or Google, I demand you ensure that Catholics receive respect, and equal and fair treatment.

Prayer of Thanksgiving

O God, of Whose mercies there is no number, and of Whose goodness the treasure is infinite; we render thanks to Your most gracious majesty for the gifts You have bestowed upon us, evermore beseeching Your clemency, that as You grant the petitions of them that ask You, You will never forsake them, but will prepare for the reward to come. Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Fatima Prayer of Reparation

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore thee profoundly. I offer thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences by which He is offended. By the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of thee the conversion of poor sinners.

YouTube Update!

36,994 petitions…1,873 holy hours…thousands of rosaries, letters, calls and faxes…YouTube still will NOT pull the 43 Holy Eucharist desecration videos from its site.
But the reaction is going global and we won't give up. Protestors from countries like Poland, Germany, Brazil, Australia, Britain, Canada and Russia are joining.
So I'm taking advantage of the growing outrage to triple our push to get the videos removed. And here's what I ask you to do:
Send a NEW petition message via email to Mr. Eric Schmidt, CEO and chairman of Google. Google owns YouTube and their motto is: "Don't be evil."
So please tell YouTube to put an end to this sacrilegious evil.
Send them a petition NOW.
Thank you and please pass on this message to friends and family.
Sincerely,
Robert Ritchie

Random Thoughts...

As far as I can remember, I have not honored my faithful fans with any posts in 'my own' words for a while, and as my ladyship has nothing of pressing importance to say -yet, this is only the first paragraph - I shall tell you about my week. I know you are all just dying to hear about what I've been doing lately, so I shall not keep you in suspense any longer. (A more appropriate comment would be "I shall not torment you with my terrible sarcasm any longer." =) Breaking news first....

A few weeks ago, I submitted a poem of mine on the Civil War to a poetry contest, hosted by a local library. Last week I was called and informed that I had won First Place for my grade level! I was so excited, I forgot to tell my father I had won. ={ He found out the day before the poetry reading at the library. Ahem, anyhow... when we got there, each of the first place winners read there poems, we were told that there had been over 100 poems submitted, and then I found out I had won 2nd place overall! And no, I did NOT forget to tell my dad that, because he was right there. I was very excited, even more so when I totaled all the prize money. ;) That’s it for the excitement folks. Now for serious stuff…

Yesterday we went to the First Holy Communion of my dad’s cousin’s son. We opted to go to that Mass, instead of going to our usual Mass and just the party, but we should have known better. Think typical upper class influenced modern day American Mass and church, and you can pretty much get the picture. The sad thing was that the homily was great; the priest spoke to the first communicants, telling them exactly who was coming to them, and he seemed to really believe what he said, but when it came time for the consecration, the lack of respect for what was going on at that moment, that moment when Christ becomes truly present in the Holy Eucharist was just appalling. We desperately need to pray for the return of reverence at Mass! The return of beautiful churches may indeed play an important part in that, because far from being distracted by an ornate church, it reminds me who is living there. A plain church, with no focal point or statues anywhere in sight, hardly makes you think of the Divine Person who dwells there! Lest my thoughts turn into ranting, I shall leave this topic for a more appropriate time, perhaps its own post…
The party though, was very nice.

The rest of my past week has been schoolwork (done with one subject!) baby-sitting my younger siblings at least once a day while my mom leaves. (I think she’ll be home this week!) and crocheting things that I am supposed to be selling somewhere in the future (Where?????) Now for the announcements…

Here Ye Here Ye! This is an announcement for the praying of 1 Million Rosaries For Unborn Babies on May 3rd simultaneously! Please join in this endeavor to pray for all unborn children, by registering HERE and clicking HERE to find the starting time for your time zone. Let us all join in praying for the end to abortion! Spread the word, sign up to pray, and then pray with your whole heart on Saturday, May 3rd!

Quote on the Eucharist

Out of the darkness of my life, so much frustrated, I place before you the one great thing to love on earth: The Blessed Sacrament... There you will find romance, glory, honor, fidelity and the true way of all your loves upon earth, and more than that: Death: by the divine paradox, that which ends life, and demands the complete surrender of all, and yet by the taste of which alone can what you seek in your earthly relationships be maintained, or take on the complexity of reality, or eternal endurance, which every man's heart desires.
~ J.R.R. Tolkien in a letter to his son.
