Where Jack Went
Well now, while Elizabeth and Will were wonderin' where Jack was an' sittin' on the beach, Jack was off wanderin' an' not wanderin' and he was not sittin' on the beach. Ya see, after Jack had taken a quick glance o're the Black Rose an' saw it was in need o' repairs, he'd spied somethin' aways down the beach and decided it merited investigatin'.
Jack's sun tanned face broke into a grin as he walked up to that part o' the beach that Elizabeth's ship - The Black Swan - was floatin'. His wiley mind began workin' and he glanced around the beach to make sure that no one was witness to his plot. Ol' Jack waded out toward the ship, muttering with satisfaction to himself. "Well now, ain't this a fine bit of luck. Fox's ship is in need of fixin which would slow me down, and up here pops Liz's fine old boat which is undamaged and there fore quite takable, also being noticablly smaller an' all her crew is gone leavin' it quite manageable by Old Jack."
Back to where we left Will an' Elizabeth an' the rest o' the crew....
"Well shiver me timbers, Jack's gotta be around here somewheres!" Elizabeth huffed. "I don't trust 'im!"
Will glanced around wryly. "Knowing Jack, he's probably checking on his rum supply."
Elizabeth was in the midst of rollin' her eyes when they spied somethin' an' near popped out of her head. "Oi!!!! Isn't that my ship?"
Elizabeth's crew gathered 'round her.
"Aye, so 'tis!"
"We'd followed ya Cap'n"
"We nearly struck aground in the storm."
"But we anchored 'er."
"We were washed off it ashore though."
Liz whipped out her sword. "Wait... no crew was left on board?"
The crew looked at eachother an' shrugged. "We'er all 'ere."
Liz looked back at her ship. "Then how?"
At the exact same moment, down to the hairiest fraction of a second, Will an' Liz shouted out. "Jack!"
An' would ya know but from across the water came that pirate's voice. "Thank you my dear Lizzy's crew for readying me to make sail! I doubtless would have been able to do it without you!" Through the spyglass, Will could see Jack tip his hat. "Sorry to leave ya in the lurch, but me mission awaits!"
Liz ground her teeth - which were in need of a floss, floss is hard to come by on the open sea - an' threw her battered hat on the ground an stomped on it. She searched long an' hard for the right words to yell at Jack, finally comin' out with "Bloody Pirate!!!"
Will's eye glinted. "He got us into this, we aren't droppin' out this easy. Crew!" He bellowed, brandishing his sword. "Let's get her ready to make sail!"
They went to it with a will - and Will - an' within' the half hour they'd gotten the Rose up off that beach an' ready to take after the Swan. Liz was at the wheel, havin' insisted that she was to be the one to steer the ship after the "Bloody Pirate!" As she steered she hollered out directions.
"Now when we get within' range, fire at will!"
Will raised an eyebrow.
Elizabeth choked back a giggle. "I mean, fire at Jack!"
The Black Rose raced over the Caribbean, fast in pursuit of Jack's commandeered ship. The chase was on!
Storm!
Well then, after they finally got of the docks the Black Rose and all on board had a fine time of sailin'. Jack got to keep his rum, it appeared that they were all headin' in the right direction and the weather was perfect for adventuring. Relationships, however, were less than so.
Jack nearly bowled over Will as he came stompin' from the captain's quarters. "Steady on!" Will cried grabbin' at Jack. "What do you think you're doin in my cabin?"
Jack glared, snapping like a shark. "I'm not in your bloody cabin no more. That hifalutin' corn dog Elizabeth is tho and oi'm about ta throw 'er to the sharks! That bloody..."
Will began rollin' his eyes. Those two... "An' what were ya doin' in me cabin?"
Elizabeth came stormin' out from the cabin now as well. "Lookey Jack, why does it matter ta you so much that my ship is followin' us?"
"Wait, your ship is following us?"
"They'll all take me rum!"
"It'd be a good thing too!"
"Why are they following us?"
"Oi like rum!"
"Well Root Beer is blood well better for you!"
And then would you know, their conversation was cut short by a tremendous clap of thunder! All three looked up in shock, for in truth not a one of them had noticed that the sun had vanished from sight. In a tick they'd sprung into action.
"Jack, get them takin' in the sails!"
"Oi'm on it Will!"
"Liz get the..."
What Liz was to get, she never found out for at that very moment the ship struck into somethin' that not a soul had noticed. An island.
July 15, 2009
Anchors away!
Well now, where are we? Ah yes.
After the agreement was made on who was going and who wasn't and how they were goin' to get where they were goin', preparations went rapidly underway and within' the day the ship was all ready to set out to the open sea.
Oi stuck it aroun' 'ere somewheres lad. 'oo'll foind it!
There we go. Back to the story...
As you can well imagine, Liz and Jack and more than a few clashes on the subject of the rum - and other things.. As for Will, he stayed clean out of the argument. Almost....
Switching now over to Elizabeth. It was her argument, so she could portray it better. http://pirateweek.blogspot.com/

What happened next
Now to take up again after Cap'n Swan's chapter, which you can read here.
Jack and Will found themselves (no, not on a hill with a bucket) alone again, and a listenin' to Elizabeth's footsteps stompin' off. Fox went an' heaved an exasperated sigh. "Now what?"
Jack sat himself down, puttin' his feet up on the table. "Simple, either we let her come, or we don't. Personally, I vote 'don't'." He took a possessive sip of his bottle, muttering, "She'll ditch me rum."
"As long as we're on this topic," Fox had just rememberd somethin' he was goin' to ask. "What do I have that you need for this venture of yours?"
The pirate captain raised an eyebrow. "A ship."
"A ship?"
"Yes a ship! Don't you bloody know wot a ship is?" Jack took his feet off the table, tryin' to givie Fox a mock incredulous look... and endin' up lookin' like he'd just swallowed a horse fly.
Will gave him an actuall mock incredulous look, sittin' himself down again, pirate eyes narrowed. "You have your own ship, why do you want mine?"
Jack choked on his rum. He coughed out, "Bloody pirate Barbossa took mine."
Fox gave a smirk, raisin' an eyebrow. "Again?" He tipped his chair on it's back legs, just like his mother always told him (and you, I'm sure) not to. "So, you are without a ship for this venture and want to "borrow" mine. And you'll probably lose or blow it up in the process. Why didn't you just commandeer it?"
"Well," Jack adjusted his hat with a flourish, "the idea did cross me mind. After the Black Pearl there's not a better ship in the Caribbean than the Flying Dutchman."
"It's the Black Rose now."
"Wotever. But your crew is so bloody loyal that oi couldn't pull it off. And I need a crew."
"I see."Fox sat in meditative silence, watching a mutant fly buzz around the brim of Jack's hat. "So my crew and I are to take you in my ship to find the fountain, and then be disposed by you and your earliest convenience."
"Naturally." Jack nodded gleefully. "Wouldn't want a crew of forever youthful pirates runnin' around, eh? Come on lad, for old times sakes."
"I'd rather not remember some of those old times." Fox screwed his pirate face up. "But fine, I'll take you. But," he cut off Jack's probably insinciere thanks. "I'll be watching you."
Jack grinned cheerily an' raised his bottle as Fox, he got up an' went to leave. "I knew you'd warm up to me!"
"Oh," Will turned back 'round, a grin playin' at his mouth. "Elizabeth is coming too."
Will took himself from the tavern, grinnin' away at the sounds of Jack's evident frustration . No more than ten minutes later, he found Elizabeth lounging away against the side of the tavern. She jerked her head up as only she could be doin' as Fox sauntered up. "Well?" The pirate girl demanded, dark eyes flashing. "You'd better let me come, 'cause you don't have a choice."
The thought of driving her to irritation was irrasistable to Will. He tried to look patronizing. "Actually, we decided that you are far too annoying and explosive to have on board any ship and if you dare try sneak aboard, we'll just dump you over the side. Savvy?"
Her jaw dropped. "Bloody pirate!" she sputtered. Shrugging, he turned as if to leave. Elizabeth followed irately. "I am so coming with!"
Fox glanced over his shoulder, shakin' with laughter at her fierce expression. "Of course you are, wouldn't think of leaving you behind."
That stopped Elizabeth up in her tracks. Then the lass beamed, gave a whoop and ran after Will.
You can be readin' the next part of the story over on Lizzy's pirate log!
July 13, 2009
And so it begins...
Now me fine readers, here is the tale of one of the many adventures i have engaged in with me mates Elizabeth and Jack -er - CAPTAIN Jack. Elizabeth and i decided to take up our pens and record the tale, each telling his or her part in their own style and preference of writing, so if the form of narration seems to change drastically, that be why! Be sure to check out Liz's log after readin' mine, for if ya read both ya'll have the FULL story!
Now d'ya ever hear tale of the time that three notorious pirates went in search of the Fountain of... well, you'll find out what that fountain was called in time. 'Tis a bold tale, full of adventure and piracy! Read one, fearless ones, should ye wish to know the full story.
Now, to start it off...
William Fox Turner pushed open the door of the tavern and glanced carefully around the crowded room. He was in search of one man in particular... Jack - er, Captain Jack Coon Sparrow. You see, Fox'd received a messege from Coon, tellin' him to be meetin' him at their usual Tortuga Inn. But as Fox entered the place he was wary. Not because of the pirates, heavens know that Fox was used to those, bein' one himself and all, but because lets just say Coon had gotten Fox involved in some rather... unpleasent things before. Anyhow...
Old Jack spotted Will crossin' the room at the same time that Fox laid eyes on Jack's perpetually half-drunk self. The pirate staggered across the room, callin' out "William! So you're here lad, I knew you'd pull through."
Fox followed him to a table. "No idea why," he muttered to himself. He addressed Coon as they sat down. "So what do you want this time? If it's anything to do with the East India Trading Company..."
"Wot, them?" Jack waved a hand. "Never a worry lad, I am through with the bloody lugs. Now, 'ow would you like to set sail with me to find somethin'?" He lowered his voice, a glint in his piratey eye.
Fox regarded him stiffly. "It depends. What?"
He raised an eyebrow. "So then you don't trust old Jack, eh?"
"I didn't say that."
"Essentially you did. You see the essential you as in the you that prefers not to take risks and not in the non-essential you that does is currently in control of both the essential and non-essential parts of you, and so there fore is essentially saying, you don't trust dear old Jack."
Will blinked, a bet befuddled. "Right. So I don't trust you. You've gotten me into some tight places Jack, and quite frankly, I'm getting tired of it. "
Jack gave a winning smile, lowering his voice. "I knew you'd warm up. Now, what we are looking for is..." he checked over his shoulder, than leaned forward whispering, "the Fountain of Youth."
(Naratorr's comment: See, I told ya you'd find out wot it was!)
"The Fountain of Youth". Fox sat back in plumb astonishment. "Honestly Jack, you don't believe that it actually exists."
Jack sighed. "You can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest, honestly!"
"Get to the point Jack." Fox did not want to go through that line again.
"If you so insist. But why not? Why wouldn't the Fountain exist? Far worse things do, er, did, such as the former owner of your admirable ship."
Will shuddered at the memory of that fearsome captain. "Why would you want me to come with you? If this fountain really does grant eternal youth, why are you inviting me along? I can't believe you are 'willing to risk' that I get some of the water too."
Jack's face took on an injured expression. "I assure you it is out of the generosity o' my heart."
Fox snorted. He wasn't goin' to take that. "I'm not going to fall for that lousy excuse."
He rolled his eyes and leaned forward. "Because you have something that I need to find the Fountain."
"What?"
Just then the talkin' of the two gentlemen was cut short by an all too familiar female voice screeching, " You aren't going anywhere with out me!"
The next part of the tale shall be told by Cap'n Swann at http://pirateweek.blogspot.com/

Love Story
Love Story by Taylor Swift! AH! It's soooo sweet! I love the last verse especially. And because I love it so much, I am going to share it all with you! Lyrics and a couple of music videos. I won't put the awesome official music video on my blog, because on of the dresses Taylor wears is off the shoulders, but if you want to watch it, here is the link.
But in the event that you wish to hear this totally awesome song, but would prefer more modest attire, here are three other versions to choose from! Watch all or one. You pick.
First off we have Love Story - Pirates of the Caribbean. This one is my personal favorite. The viedo clips fit the music perfectly!!!! It is just soooo cool! If watch any of the videos, watch this one!
Next we have Love Story - Phantom of the Opera. Would be just as good if the video quality was a little better, but again.. lyrics and clips just click!
And last, this one is really cheesy, but come on... you can't have a Love Story without Diseny Princesses now can you???? ;) Corny, but cute.
Oh, and lyrics, of course.
I close my eyes and the flashback starts:
I'm standing there on a balcony in summer air.
See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns.
See you make your way through the crowd
and say hello;
Little did I know
That you were Romeo; you were throwing pebbles,
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet."
And I was crying on the staircase,
begging you, 'Please, don't go.'"
And I said,
"Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone.
I'll be waiting; all there's left to do is run.
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story - baby just say 'Yes.'"
So I sneak out to the garden to see you.
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew.
So close your eyes; escape this town for a little while.
'Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter,
And my daddy said "Stay away from Juliet,"
But you were everything to me; I was begging you, 'Please, don't go,'"
And I said,
"Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone.
I'll be waiting; all there's left to do is run.
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story - baby just say 'Yes.'
Romeo save me - they're tryin' to tell me how to feel;
This love is difficult, but it's so real.
Don't be afraid; we'll make it out of this mess.
It's a love story - baby just say "Yes.'"
Oh.
I got tired of waiting,
Wondering if you were ever comin' around.
My faith in you was fading
When I met you on the outskirts of town,
And I said,
"Romeo save me - I've been feeling so alone.
I keep waiting for you but you never come.
Is this in my head? I don't know what to think-"
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said,
"Marry me, Juliet - you'll never have to be alone.
I love you and that's all I really know.
I talked to your dad - go pick out a white dress;
It's a love story - baby just say 'Yes.'"
Oh, oh.
We were both young when I first saw you...

One Day
But there still is one day! (well.... two, actually! Today and tomorrow!) So let's make it a blast shall we?
So, for today's first post (maybe only, we'll see..) I am going to put up a bunch of my favorite movie clips. Not all of them by any means (that'd be most of the three movies!) but a few. Enough to keep ye entertained, savvy?
First off:
The grand duel between Jack and Will from the first movie.
My absolute favorite scene from Pirates 2, in two parts.
I do believe that explains this next clip!
And the scene after the credits in Pirates of the Caribbean 3. (Yay! He get's to meet his dad!!!!)
And because I love the song, but don't overly care for the scene:
One Day (music only)
And then, because I love this song as well, "Drink up Me Hearties"
(It's the credit song, not the actual 'Yo Ho Yo Ho' thing. =)

The Best of Both Worlds....
Here is the movie poster below:
*readers recoil in horror* When ye've all recovered, I shall shed some sunlight on wot gave me this spiffin' idea. So, on the website narniaweb.com, there is a forum that I like to go and look at occasionally. Now, a member of that forum who is also on 'my forum', mentioned that people had been writing 'scripts' for trailers of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I noticed that in them, people would have Aslan say lines like "Will you sail to world's end?" or something along those lines. I commented on the FTforum that put in that way, viewers who had never read the books might take this for another 'Pirates of the Caribbean' type movie. (Which it isn't!) Someone said "Yeah, it's The Pirates of the Dawn Treader!"
That got me creative juices flowing...
and here is the result!
